In a hidden corner of St. Johann im Pongau – where the Großarler Ache once dug deep into the rock – stands our small, fine Liechtensteinklamm inn. A place where three generations have lent a hand. With good taste, a great sense of hospitality and a practiced knack for homemade delicacies.
Inside it’s cozy, outside it’s surrounded by incredibly beautiful nature. Combined with a visit to the gorge or just for fun. Come on in!

Enjoyment
Taste the region.
Hearty. Sweet. The main thing is homemade. From early in the morning until the last Klamm guest leaves the house, we cook with love. Seasonal. Fresh. And from the region, of course. Our specialties? Freshly caught trout. Heartily layered burgers. Homemade strudels and cakes that are worth every sweet sin.
And that’s just the beginning. We always say: “Taste your way through our menu”. The rest happens by itself.

That’s why we have our souvenir store. You can’t miss it on your way in and out of the gorge. Perfect for taking one or two original little things, a piece of the gorge out into the world.
Us
Two generations. One inn.
Our inn is a family affair and we put our heart and soul into running it. We are Thomas, Bella, Kathrin, Melanie, mom Käthi and dad Herwig. Many minds, many ideas.
And one thing is clear: when two generations work together, it’s rarely completely quiet. The seniors want it this way, the youngsters want it another way. In the end, it’s a bit of both. And that’s what makes it so lively!
Liechtenstein Gorge
The natural wonder behind the house.
It is so mighty and fascinating and is one of the longest, deepest and wildest of its kind: the Liechtensteinklamm gorge – right behind the guesthouse – enchants in no time at all. Waterfalls, long steps, incredibly beautiful natural spectacles wherever you look. And then there is the pleasant sound of rushing water, without which our guest garden would simply not be the same. That’s for sure – just like its mighty rock faces.

More of you? No problem at all. On the contrary: our restaurant is the right place for larger groups. And we like it so sociable. That’s why we offer you over 70 seats in our cozy Stub’n and 80 more outside in the guest garden. You’re welcome to stay all day. Or come for coffee and cake.
